Day Seven

Today, i sat around on my school server and launched reverse meterpreter attacks using the internet explorer_create ActiveX exploit. Needless to say, i was rather bored. Attacking people using interent explorer was the only method that could cure my boredom. I didnt use much in terminal other then

netstat
su
dir
cd

Well, thats all i have to say for today.

Day three

Today i didnt do very much concerning fedora. I did however go searching for any kind of startup folder. No luck. My computer crashed today, once for no reason, also i found that i have two versions of fedora on here now. I dont know how it got there, but one says fc9-i686-14 and ther other is fc9-i686-18

Whats the difference?

Sadly, i still dont know how to install my webcam drivers and wine has been acting up.

Also, i cant run frostwire, it wont open

Guess thats what i get for trying to download music, huh?

Day two

After using fedora 9 for the second day i am finding myself becoming more comfortable to desktop and the way programs are installed. Last night, i tried to update java to java 6, but the rpm wouldnt install, now under my administrator menus it does say Java, and it does say version 6, but the JRE enviorment still wont work. Other then that everything else is running like a dream.

So my computer killed itself last night...

So i grabbed one of my linux cds and shoved it right in
I will be blogging about my expeirences in fedora for the next three days and then every other week


This pristene install is running perfectly and is curently updating to the newest update.

I configured my wireless card today, it works just fine.

I can untar a tarball and i cannot understand the make and install commands
